H20 is a water based initiative created by Hurley in 2008. As part of their mission to provide clean water for everyone, they have  partnered with world class surfer and spokesperson, Rob Machado to provide drinking water for school students in California encouraging health and wellness.
In December 2010, President Obama signed the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act into law. This legislation authorizes funding and sets policy for the USDA’s core child nutrition programs  featuring a National School Lunch Program. It allows the  USDA, for the first time in over 30 years, the opportunity to make reforms to the school lunch and breakfast programs by improving critical nutrition and a hunger safety net for millions of children. Within this Act is a provision requiring schools participating in the school lunch program to make available free drinking water at places where school meals are served. This signifies an important acknowledgment that water consumption is a necessary and crucial element of promoting healthy dietary choices within children. GLOBALTAP is proud to be a part of this venture.
